| Our kittens are all
born and raised in the house. They are
reared on top quality tinned and dry foods
as well as fresh meat and fish. We try to
give them as much variety as possible so
they do not grow up to be fussy adults.
We put a great deal of
thought into our breeding program and place
great emphasis on breeding only from the
healthiest lines. We feel it is essential
that kittens are raised in a clean and
stress free environment to help ensure they
are healthy, happy and well adjusted.
Our cats are, to date,
free of hypokalaemia (a debilitating,
hereditary condition affecting the Burmese
breed). We also blood test regularly for
FeLV, FIV and coronavirus.
Our babies are ready
to leave home at around 13 weeks of age. By
this time they have been wormed and had a
full course of vaccinations (we use an F5
which not only provides protection for flu
and enteritis but also immunises the kitten
against leukaemia and chlamydia). Our
kittens are also desexed before leaving for
their new homes. This ensures that their new
owners have nothing to worry about until the
first booster is due at 15 months of age.
Our kittens are also
insured for the first six weeks in their new
home - this is provided free of charge to
the new owner by Pet Plan. We strongly
advise new owners to consider taking out
health cover for their pet as veterinary
bills can be expensive.
The cost of each
kitten is $430 plus the cost of desexing
(currently $75 for males and $95 for
females) - a deposit is required to reserve
your kitten. Kittens are litter registered
with the Cat Owners'
Association of WA and may not be shown or
bred from without our express permission.
We almost never sell our
kittens for breeding unless we are sure that
their new owners share the same high
standards and goals as us.
